Physiotherapy

Your sessions

Physiotherapy is both responsive and proactive. So as well as helping you rebuild strength and mobility after an injury, it can also work to protect your body from damage and pain in the first place.

Your first physio session with us will always be an assessment, so we can learn what we need to about any existing or potential problem areas. Then we’ll work out together how many sessions you’ll need to get fighting fit. As well as developing exercises for you to do on your own, we’ll spend time on things like acupuncture, muscle and joint manipulation (not as painful as it sounds), and massage – whatever your body needs to get back to and stay at its best.

So whether you’re recovering after an injury or operation, need help managing long-term or recurring pain, or just want a one-off assessment to help you spot – and learn how to safeguard against – potential weaknesses, physio is a surprisingly holistic way to build and maintain your overall fitness.
