Though primarily experts in the musculoskeletal system, osteopaths believe everyone can benefit from a tailored, whole-person approach to health.  They use a wide variety of hands-on techniques that focus on releasing tension, improving mobility and optimising function, as well as providing supporting health and exercise advise.

Maybe it’s just a niggling problem with a knee, or that continual back pain – at your first osteo session we’ll ask you questions about the problem and the symptoms you may be experiencing, as well as about your medical history and lifestyle, and we’ll put that all together and agree a personalised treatment plan.   This may involve manual therapies to get you moving again, working on exercises that you can do yourself to build mobility and strength and providing supporting health advise.

So whether you want to get over an acute injury, or need help recovering from a more chronic problem, or even just want advice to help you avoid a problem in future, osteopathy can help.

Marie’s osteopathy practice, ‘The Tilsworth Clinic’, has recently relocated to Unlock Fitness.  She’s experienced in managing both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal injuries and conditions and uses a range of osteopathic techniques and management options to suit her patients’ individual needs.
