INJURY RECOVERY
When recovering from injury or surgery we use a mix of resistance, bodyweight and cardio based exercises. Using these exercises, massage therapy and a progressive system we aim to build your strength back, improve movement round the joints and get you back to a functioning level (if not better).
When an injury or surgery affects muscles and their movement it can cause other muscles to compensate and work harder than they are used to, this can then affect movement at joints by reducing movement or causing pain.
Using massage in recovery helps to relax any over worked muscles, improve muscles function and range of movement (for more information on how massage can help you see the Massage Therapy page)
